Media Borough Halloween Parade

Calendar Date:

Saturday, October 29, 2022 - 11:00am

Join Us for the Halloween Parade!

Parade Details:

Saturday, October 29 at 11am in Media Borough (Rain Date is  Sunday, October 30th)

As you may have heard, the Borough of Media Recreation Board is now planning the Annual Halloween Parade. After 55 years and staff changes at the organization, Town Talk Newspapers  is no longer able to sponsor the parade. Instead of letting this historic event disappear, Media Borough is taking it over to keep the tradition and magic alive.

Register your group to participate:

Complete the ONLINE FORM HERE no later than Friday, October 21st to register your group and/or float.

Registration Details:

On Parade day, participating group leaders should check in with the parade officials at the intersection of State and Edgmont Streets no later than 10:15 am. Groups will be told where to stand until it is their time to march. The parade will form between Barral Field and Media Elementary and start promptly at 11am. We anticipate the parade to take a little less than one hour. About one week prior to the parade, we will send out confirmation details about the parade, including parking information.

To be eligible to participate in the Media Borough Halloween Parade, you must agree to the following conditions:

  • If you are handing out candy you must NEVER throw candy from vehicles and must agree to hand out candy on the sides of the parade route.
  • Per Media Borough event policy, you must refrain from displaying any religious or political statements along the parade route.
Note: The Halloween Parade and its officials reserve the right to decline groups' participation in the event if they are dressed inappropriately or are displaying anything that could be deemed offensive.
