Billy "White Shoes" Johnson Statue Dedication Ceremony

Billy "White Shoes" Johnson was a wide receiver and return specialist in the National Football League (NFL) from 1974 through 1988, where he played for the Houston Oilers, the Atlanta Falcons and the Washington Redskins. He is a 75th and 100th Anniversary All-Time NFL Team selection, and his days at Widener University have also earned him a selection into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1996. He was inducted into the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame in 2018. 

He will be celebrated in his hometown of Marcus Hook on Saturday October 15th, 2022 at 12:00PM with the dedication of a statue in his honor in front of the Marcus Hook Community Center, located at 7 W. Delaware Avenue.
