Summer Concert Series 2022

The Marcus Hook Summer Concert Series will celebrate its thirty-sixth year with the 7-concert series.  Each year music lovers come out to sit back and relax, and enjoy the music that takes place along the banks of the scenic Delaware River at Marcus Hook’s beautiful Market Square Memorial Park.  Concerts follow on consecutive Tuesday evenings at the park located at Market Street and Delaware Avenue.  All programs begin at 7:00 PM.

On August 2nd, Big Band from the Valley will be stopping by for a concert.  Big Band from the Valley originated close to fifty years ago in Rose

Big Band From The ValleyValley, Delaware County.  . The band is comprised of the full complement of three trumpets, four trombones, five saxophones, piano, bass, and drums. The vocal duties are handled by Marge Miller and Dennis Finelli while the entire band sparkles with special musical arrangements from Bill Willis. Although their roots are with the all time big band greats from the 1940s, they adapt that excitement to today's music hits.

Also on hand for the August 2nd concert will be the Marcus Hook Police Department for National

Big Band from the ValleyNight Out, which is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

Marcus Hook Borough Council presents this year’s Series with support from the following sponsors: Energy Transfer, Monroe Energy, Duke Realty LP, PECO, Alan McIlvain Company, and the Jacono family.

Food and light refreshments are available for purchase at the park during the Summer Concert Series.  No alcohol or pets are permitted. In case of rain, concerts will be rescheduled for the following evening.
