Kyleigh Calvert, Claire Chaplin, Olivia Friess, Brooke Husar, Kelly McGlinn, Abigail Rowley, Paige Shelton, Samantha Smoot, Natalie Stuart, and Andrea Wat have been named National Merit Commended Students.

More than one million juniors complete the PSAT/NMSQT each year and are automatically entered in the National Merit Scholarship Program. These Commended Students are recognized for their exceptional academic promise.
Approximately 16,000 advance to become semifinalists and about 34,000 are commended. Commended students represent the top five percent of the nation’s high school seniors.
