Transportation Information Now Available in Infinite Campus

Genbusiness001

Culbertson Elementary School issued the following announcement on Sept 1.

Dear Marple Newtown Families:

Transportation information for the 2021-2022 school year is now available via the Campus Portal. Below are the procedures that will allow MNSD Families and students to access updated bussing information through Infinite Campus.

We strongly encourage you to revisit the transportation information in Campus at least two days before the start of school to ensure there have been no changes to your child’s bussing information.  While it is extremely unlikely that bus stop locations will change, there is a chance that bus times may be slightly adjusted.  Also, please note that bus numbers may change, but this will not affect time or location of a bus stop.

Infinite Campus access – Parents who have children attending Marple Newtown School District Schools can access their child’s bussing information through the Campus Portal. (We strongly encourage this option to obtain bussing information for all students.)  Please refer to the instructions noted below regarding how to gain access and/or log in to the portal.

Viewing Transportation Information in the Infinite Campus Portal:

1.    Using an internet browser, navigate to the following site:

https://marplenewtown.infinitecampus.org/campus/portal/marple_newtown.jsp?status=portalLogoff&lang=en

2.    Using your Infinite Campus login or the login of your student, log in to the portal. If you do not have an Infinite Campus account, you can request an Infinite Campus login by sending an email to the following address: mncampussupport@mnsd.org.  Please be sure to include your full name, the full name of your child attending a MNSD school, the birth date of the child and your full mailing address. Instructions will be emailed to you within 24 hours.

3. Once logged in to the portal, click on the “Transportation” button on the left-hand side of the screen.

4. The transportation information will appear in the middle of the screen.

If you feel that the information displayed in the portal is incorrect or you have questions, please contact the Transportation Department at transportation@mnsd.org or 610-359-4299.

We respectfully request your patience during the first two weeks of the school year, and we ask that you hold off on requesting any significant changes to your child’s bus route.  During the first two weeks of school, our outstanding bus drivers will tweak their bus routes as they observe traffic volume and construction obstacles and as they get to know the needs of the students they transport.

If you need to request a change to your child’s bus stop, you may obtain a Student Transportation Change Request form from the district’s website. The form is available on the District Departments tab under Transportation.  Please complete the form, and submit it to the Transportation office as per the instructions on the form.  Once a change request form is received, it may take up to two weeks to have a final determination.

Thank you for your continued support, cooperation and anticipated understanding!  Enjoy the last few days of your summer break.  We look forward to a great year and working with you to transport your child safely to and from school!
